About Chef Marty
Marty Sutton, USMC (Ret.), served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as a food service specialist. He has attended courses at Johnson & Wales University and The Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, he has over 10 years of catering experience in the civilian sector.
In 2017, Chef Marty founded Chow Dawg's Mobile BBQ & Catering a private events catering company that provided exceptional BBQ & comfort foods in Macon GA and surrounding areas. It also provided hot meals for the homeless at the end of every month with a portion of it's profits and with the help of donations from the community.
In 2022, Chef Marty moved to Maryland and soon after suffered a mild stroke which caused him to retire from catering. His mission now is to teach frustrated cooks how to avoid the rut of cooking the same boring dishes for their friends & families by providing them with videos and recipes that add a unique twist to southern classic comfort foods.
